Register online for the next sitting of ICO Examinations taking place on March 23, 2022.
The ICO Examinations will not only help you meet the requirements to practice in your home country, but completing the first three ICO Standard Examinations will allow you to take the ICO Advanced Examination to qualify for the prestigious Fellow of the International Council of Ophthalmology (FICO) designation.
Plus, ICO Examinations now provide a pathway to become a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow: all candidates who pass the ICO Standard Examinations are eligible to apply for the highly recognised FRCS (Ophth) (Glasg) designation.
The following examinations will be offered in March 2022:
- Visual Science;
- Optics, Refraction, and Instruments;
- Clinical Ophthalmology; and
- Advanced Examination.
If you belong to an ICO Member Society, you will receive reduced registration rates and free access to the ICO Foundation Assessments to help you prepare for your exams. Candidates who pass their ICO Examinations will also be assigned additional points when applying for ICO scholarships and awards.
